Changes At Jeunesse Australasia – All Your Questions Answered

Mar 22, 2023

There have been a lot of exciting changes at Jeunesse this year, at both a local and a global level. Read on for all the news and to find out what it means for our valued distributors and your business.

Who is the new owner of Jeunesse Global?
Following 13 dynamic years at the forefront of the direct selling industry, Jeunesse has entered its next phase of growth and development with a full acquisition by LaCore Enterprises in January 2023.

LaCore is a global leader in manufacturing, logistics and supply chain operations. This acquisition gives Jeunesse a strategic advantage, with the tools and systems in place to revitalise and grow the Jeunesse brand worldwide.

Importantly, LaCore is committed to our model and to growing a successful business in Australia, across the Asia-Pacific region and globally.

Who will be running the business?
As part of the rejuvenation strategy of Jeunesse, a new executive leadership team with deep experience in the global direct selling industry has also been announced.

Jason Borné has been appointed CEO. He brings more than 30 years of networking experience with a focus on leadership development, sales and training. A former Jeunesse Diamond Director, Jason has been closely involved in the growth of the company to date and brings a wealth of experience and practical knowledge to take Jeunesse to the next level.

What is Rachel McVinish’s new role at Jeunesse?
We’re delighted to announce that Rachel McVinish has been appointed President of the Asia-Pacific region. For the past nine years, Rachel has been an integral part of the Jeunesse team as General Manager – Australia, New Zealand & Fiji, and has led the Australasia region towards continued growth and success.

In her new role, Rachel will add Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Cambodia and Japan to her existing portfolio. Rachel’s promotion is a recognition of the performance of the Australasia team, and ensures continuity and consistency across the Asia-Pacific region.

How will the expansion of Rachel’s role impact on her existing day-to-day role in Australia, NZ and Fiji?
While Rachel’s field has broadened significantly with her new role, she remains as committed and accessible as ever to her local market. Rachel is fortunate to be supported by a dedicated, skilled and passionate Australasia team, which includes Compliance Manager Lisa Jenkins, who previously acted in the role of General Manager during Rachel’s parental leave. Also working hard to ensure the Australasia market runs smoothly are Marketing & Events Manager Louise Corran and Operations Manager Andrew Siracusa.

Will LaCore take on manufacturing for Jeunesse products? What impact will this have on our stock levels in Australia/NZ going forward?
One of the most significant benefits of our partnership with LaCore is their deep expertise in manufacturing.

LaCore has already taken on full manufacturing of our flagship product Reserve, to meet global demand and the intention is to make it the centre of manufacturing for the majority of Jeunesse products. This will be a phased and seamless approach to minimise any disruptions to delivery and stock levels in different markets.

Are there plans to introduce new products to the local market to bring us in line with other markets?
For now, the focus remains on replenishing stock levels for existing product lines. However, Jeunesse is exploring multiple opportunities for new product launches, with full global support from LaCore.

For now, we encourage all distributors to have full confidence that stock will be arriving soon for our existing product lines. This is positive news for all distributors and their customers.
